Why Does My Face Look Asymmetrical in Photos?

Your face may look more asymmetrical in a photograph because of camera position, head angle, lighting, or expression. A flipped image can also look unfamiliar. One photograph combines all those conditions, so it cannot tell you how much of a visible difference comes from stable facial structure.

Check the camera and light first
